The North Phoenix Bar Association has a flyer to tell attorneys in the valley about our wonderful new organization. Please pass this along to anyone you know who might be interested to learn about the organization.
Save the date. The first lucheon meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Catch 22. Our guest speaker is Connie Mabelson, who will be talking about intellectual property issues about which every lawyer should know. For more information and directions, see this flyer.
We have created a fillable Adobe Acrobat version of the membership application to make it easy to complete and send to us. Though we still require a check for dues, we would prefer for you to complete and email the application to us at info@northphoenixbarassociation.org.
***UPDATE*** — We’re experiencing technical difficulties with the Application. Some of you have said you cannot email it from the application form, I believe. If so, please save it to you computer locally and then just attach the local copy to an email and send it to us. Please DO NOT try to email it as a link to the webform, as such links are not saved (i.e., when we open it, it will be blank). Also, the email field in the Application is not working at the moment. I hope to have the fixed shortly. So, be sure to put your email address in the transmittal email (unless you are transmitting it with your address as the return email address) and we will update our records accordingly. A new voluntary bar association is forming to service lawyers who office near or appear in the North County Superior Courts along the 101 corridor. It will provide opportunities to network, hear guest speakers, and perhaps involve yourself in philanthropic events. The first meeting is to be held at Thursday, 04 March at 5:30 pm at a restaurant called Catch 22, located at 18725 North 32nd Street, Phoenix.
